A multi‑jet water meter uses several small jets of water directed onto an impeller to produce rotation. Because the impeller is supported at the centre of the meter and touched by multiple jets, the load on bearings is small and accuracy remains stable over time. These meters are suitable for low to medium flows and are often used at the outlet of fertigation machines or for domestic irrigation zones.
