SandStorm filters are pressure‑sand media filters built from high‑quality carbon steel with non‑corrosive coatings. Water enters the tank and flows through a bed of graded sand, trapping suspended solids such as algae, organic matter and silt. The modular design allows multiple units to be connected for higher flow rates. Back‑flushing is controlled automatically or manually, reversing the flow to purge trapped particles. Media filters are essential when surface water or recycled effluent is used for drip irrigation.
